The risk of conflicts in Taiwan Strait is the most crucial and complicated security issue facing our country. Drawing on data of high-frequency events with macrolevel data, this research project utilizes deep learning techniques to monitor the potential risk of conflicts in the Taiwan Strait. The project will also conduct real-time assessments on how various policies, discursive practices and actions by both the United States and Taiwan impact the geopolitical situation in the Taiwan Strait.
